Firearm and Ammo Transfers
We will assist with firearm and ammo transfers as we can. Please do NOT initiate a transfer with any seller until you receive our prior approval. Any shipments sent to us without our prior knowledge and consent must be declined.
We charge a $75 handling fee for handgun transfers from other FFLs. Long guns are $90. Any guns imported into CA for civilian use must be legal to possess and handguns must be on the roster of Handguns Certified for Sale. Additional charges will include the state background fee of $37.19 and 10.25% for CA and local sales tax if not paid at the time of purchase.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT LOWERS FOR SEMI-AUTOMATIC RIFLES.
We will accept ammo transfers for a minimum handling fee of $50 plus the appropriate background fee for orders of up to $1,000. We are also required to collect CA and local sales tax if not paid at the time or purchase.
Any transfers that are not initiated within seven days of us receiving the firearm or ammo will incur a minimum storage fee of $50.
